Nice Swan Academy

Nice Swan Academy is a Children’s Theatre School established in 2009 in Gateshead where we encourage and nurture talent from a very young age to get involved in Performing Arts and Drama and see what it can do for them both as a person and a performer. We give youngsters the skills, the confidence and the support needed to grow up being involved in this industry. ​Our Academy is a place for young people to come together, improve, express, create and achieve their ambitions with lots of performance opportunity and fun along the way!

 

We appreciate that not all children are the same and don't always want to feel pressured into doing exams and competitions, so instead we offer fun and friendly weekly classes with amazing chances to shine on stage with the option to do exams for those that choose to. We also understand that not every child likes to sing and dance so we are pleased to offer classes that just focus on acting for those that want to progress in this specific area. 
 

At Nice Swan Academy YOUR STAGE AWAITS in one of our fun and friends weekly classes for children age 3 and above. We offer classes in Mini Performers, Performing Arts and Drama with optional technical styles including Commercial, Ballet, Tap, Private Singing, Private Dance and LAMDA Tuition. We don't pressure our students with exams or competitions but instead we take pride in offering lots of performance opportunity throughout the year including the chance to dance at Disneyland Paris!

We also have exciting School Holiday Activities  (Easter, Summer and Christmas) for children to get involved in as well as regular workshops with industry professionals.​

We often get the opportunity to showcase our work at one of the most magical places on earth - DISNEYLAND PARIS and in 2023 we travelled to New York City with the oportutnity of a lifetime performing on a BROADWAY stage and under the evening lights of Times Square.
