ACRO GYMNASTICS TEACHER

MARCH 2023

 

Nice Swan Academy of Performing and Dramatic Arts in the North East is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated Acro/Gymnastics teacher to join our ever expanding team! Our established Acro Gymnastics classes run weekly in Gateshead for children age 4 -14 years. We are looking for teachers with great passion and experience. The ideal candidate will be a excellent all-rounder that is confident, a great motivator and aware of how to communicate with children and young people. They will have the patience and skill to teach younger, inexperienced children making sessions fun and enjoyable for them. They will also have the right attitude and skill to push talented students to their potential. We do not teach grades so the classes will be focusing more on gymnastics technique and incorporating this into choreographed dances with regular opportunities to showcase work.

Classes currently run on a Thursday evening between 4.45-8.15pm. Additional hours may be available as part of our expansion plans. An all-round candidate may have the opportunity to work extra hours within other divisions of our busy Performing Arts Academy.

 

The suitable candidate would have the required level of training/experience and be Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) approved (we are able to provide this if not).

SINGING TUTOR

MARCH 2023

 

Nice Swan Academy of Performing and Dramatic Arts in the North East is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and committed part-time Singing Tutor to join our ever expanding team. We are a friendly, well-established Theatre School, that is now in its 13th Year running a busy timetable from our studios in Gateshead.

 

  • The ideal candidate would teach Musical Theatre/Singing LAMDA and Private Singing Lessons as part of our timetable.

  • Be familiar with the LAMDA syllabus and how the exams work.

  • Be able to sing and run a vocal warm up, vocal exercises and teach songs 

  • Work flexible hours, which may include weekends and some evenings. 

  • Delivery of lessons to a high standard in required disciplines to students with a broad range of ages and abilities.

  • Extra involvement in internal and external events and activities, which include exams, lessons, shows, performances, and holiday activities.

  • Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) approved (we are able to provide if not).

 

The suitable candidate would have singing training/required level of experience.
